Germany is preparing its F124 frigates for the introduction of the NH90 Sea Tiger helicopter, a next-generation naval platform designed for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare missions. The modernization effort includes ship modifications and systems integration to support the helicopter’s advanced sensors, sonar, and weapon systems. Replacing the aging Sea Lynx fleet, the Sea Tiger will significantly enhance the German Navy’s maritime surveillance, reconnaissance, and combat capabilities.
