The United States is helping Australia strengthen its combat aviation capability through a new training and support package for the Royal Australian Air Force’s Super Hornet and Growler fleets. Instead of supplying additional aircraft, the agreement focuses on improving pilot skills, maintenance standards, and long-term fleet sustainment. The enhanced support will increase operational readiness, strengthen electronic warfare capabilities, and improve interoperability with allied air forces. As security challenges continue to evolve across the Indo-Pacific, the partnership reinforces Australia’s ability to maintain a modern and highly capable air combat force.
