Godrej Aerospace is emerging as a major contender in India’s AMCA fighter engine program as GTRE prepares for co-development of the next-generation AHTCE turbofan engine with France’s Safran. The engine is intended to power the future AMCA Mk-2 stealth fighter and strengthen India’s indigenous aerospace capabilities.
