Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) has partnered with Airbus Helicopters to explore crewed-uncrewed teaming using the RSAF’s H225M Medium Lift helicopter and Airbus Helicopters’ Flexrotor unmanned aerial system. The agreement centers on conducting a flight demonstration to assess how such teaming can enhance situational awareness and mission outcomes.
The innovative HTeaming system from Airbus will be integrated into the RSAF’s H225M, giving the crew full control over the Flexrotor. The demonstration will showcase Airbus’ crewed-uncrewed teaming technology’s efficiency and the operational advantages of combining manned helicopters with unmanned systems.
Airbus recently introduced HTeaming, a modular package that includes a modem, four antennas, a tablet, and supporting software.
