After arriving at RNZAF Base Auckland, Whenuapai, in late October 2024, the fourth C-130J-30 Super Hercules aircraft was welcomed into the Royal New Zealand Air Force’s (RNZAF) fleet. From Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Georgia, USA, the aircraft, registered as NZ7014, went more than 14,000 kilometers, stopping in California, Hawaii, and American Samoa. This delivery is a part of a plan to replace the RNZAF’s inventory of outdated C-130H aircraft with five C-130J-30s. By the end of 2024, the fifth and last aircraft should arrive.
