Europe is expanding its production of the Stinger missile as Raytheon partners with leading defense companies across the continent to strengthen regional manufacturing capacity. Key missile components will be produced in Germany and other European countries before final assembly is completed in the Netherlands, creating a more resilient supply chain for NATO members. The Stinger continues to serve as one of the world’s most reliable portable air defense systems, protecting forces against helicopters, drones, and low-altitude aircraft. Increasing production will help allied nations replenish inventories more quickly while improving overall military readiness in response to evolving security challenges.
