The US Marine Corps has received its first Tamir interceptors for the MRIC air defense system based on Israel’s Iron Dome technology. Designed to counter drones, missiles, rockets, and artillery threats, the mobile system restores medium-range air defense capability for Marine expeditionary forces. The program marks a major enhancement in protecting forward-deployed troops and critical assets.
