Project Kusha is rapidly emerging as a cornerstone of India’s future air defense strategy following successful developmental testing of its indigenous interceptor missile. The latest evaluations demonstrated strong overall system performance, reinforcing confidence in the missile’s propulsion, guidance, and interception capabilities. Once fully operational, the Kusha family of interceptors is expected to provide layered protection against a wide variety of airborne threats, significantly strengthening national air defense.
