Poland has strengthened its long-term defense industrial strategy through a manufacturing agreement with Anduril Industries to locally produce the Barracuda-500M long-range cruise missile. The program emphasizes gradual localization of manufacturing, allowing Polish industry to assume an increasing share of production while supporting NATO’s strategic objective of expanding European missile manufacturing capacity. Designed for affordable mass production, the missile delivers long-range precision strike capability against maritime and land targets while incorporating autonomous navigation technologies.
