Bell Textron is preparing the US Marine Corps’ helicopter fleet for future warfare through major upgrades to the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom platforms. The SPINE modernization program will provide these aircraft with greater electrical capacity, improved connectivity, and the ability to operate advanced weapons and sensors. By transforming the helicopters into more networked and digitally connected platforms, the upgrade will expand their role in distributed operations, precision strike missions, and future multi-domain warfare environments.
