Thales and ArianeGroup have completed the maiden firing of the FLP-T 150 tactical ballistic missile, a new indigenous precision-strike munition being developed to replace France’s aging multiple launch rocket systems. Capable of engaging targets at ranges of up to 150 kilometers, the missile combines advanced propulsion, maneuverability, and guidance technologies to improve survivability against modern air defense networks. ArianeGroup is responsible for the missile’s propulsion and navigation systems, while Thales oversees launcher integration, fire control, and overall battlefield deployment architecture.
