Lockheed Martin has received additional funding from the US Air Force to expand production of the LRASM missile system. The contract modification supports equipment procurement and manufacturing capacity for the long-range anti-ship weapon, which is capable of striking major naval targets at extended ranges and is currently deployed on B-1B bombers and F/A-18 fighter jets.
