As part of its airborne long-range surveillance fleet modernization program, Lockheed Martin has delivered the 18th airframe to the US Coast Guard to be converted into an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft. The aircraft, which is being shipped in its base C-130J Super Hercules configuration, will go through a one-year integration procedure in Georgia to improve its heavy air transport and maritime patrol capabilities in accordance with the effort’s requirements.
