The final NH90 Caïman Tactical Transport Helicopter from Airbus has been accepted by France as part of an army rotorcraft fleet augmentation initiative.With the delivery, shipments that started in 2011 to meet the service’s need for 63 NH90s in a specially designed “Standard 1” configuration with increased logistics capability were completed. Following this milestone, 18 further NH90s in a “Standard 2” form are anticipated to be delivered to the force between 2026 and 2029.
