Iraq will receive KUH-1 Surion utility transport helicopters from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) under an agreed contract. Two of the planes are covered by the 136 billion South Korean won ($92.7 million) arrangement, which will also be the company’s first Surion agreement with Baghdad. The South Korean news agency Yonhap said that the systems will be shipped by March 2029.
