The German KSK and Flensburg Technology Systems have jointly presented the TAHR, a new lightweight airborne tactical vehicle weighing 3.2 tons (7,055 pounds). One of the platform’s defining characteristics is its ability to transport a payload nearly equivalent to its own mass. The vehicle has been developed in two mission-specific forms, comprising a combat configuration and a support variant. The combat version accommodates three personnel and is intended to provide a compact weapons platform for special operations. Its armament can be configured with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun, an MG6 minigun, or a grenade launcher, depending on mission requirements.
