Otokar has rolled out the first Romanian-produced Cobra II armored vehicle, officially launching local manufacturing for Romania’s major 1,059-vehicle defense program. Alongside the Cobra II, the company displayed its Tulpar infantry fighting vehicle and a new unmanned ground system developed with Romanian and Turkish partners. The effort highlights growing defense cooperation between Ankara and Bucharest while boosting Romania’s domestic defense manufacturing capabilities.
