Italy is enhancing its amphibious warfare capabilities through the acquisition of additional Assault Amphibious Vehicles from the United States. The vehicles will strengthen expeditionary operations, troop mobility, and NATO interoperability while providing greater flexibility for military deployments in coastal and maritime environments.
