Norway has opened a new Leopard 2A8 tank manufacturing center through a partnership between KNDS Deutschland and RITEK. The facility will assemble most of Norway’s new tanks locally, strengthening domestic defense production and NATO readiness. Equipped with advanced testing infrastructure and sustainable energy systems, the plant represents a major step in modernizing Norway’s armored forces.
