Built on a modular vehicle chassis, the Tempest integrates dual Longbow missile launchers designed to target and eliminate short- and medium-range drones. The system is engineered to perform effectively under challenging weather and terrain conditions, ensuring operational reliability in diverse combat environments. Its modular build also enables future upgrades and mission-specific payloads.
The platform’s signature “shoot-and-scoot” mechanism allows it to engage and relocate automatically after firing, minimizing exposure to enemy retaliation. This self-repositioning feature enhances survivability and ensures the vehicle remains undetected in contested environments.
