The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has fielded its largest unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to date—developed by Ukrainian Armor—to enhance frontline operational capabilities. Named the PROTECTOR, the UGV is tailored to deliver tactical support and logistical transport in combat zones, regardless of terrain or weather challenges.
Built with input from real battlefield use, the system is engineered for resilience and performance. It can transport up to 700 kilograms of equipment or supplies and operate over a distance of 400 kilometers. Its integration of a specialized internal combustion engine ensures effective mobility across rugged terrains, making it a valuable asset for modern warfare scenarios.
