India is advancing its battlefield capabilities with a next-generation armored vehicle developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation. Designed to replace the BMP-2, the platform combines firepower, protection, and mobility in both tracked and wheeled versions. Developed with private industry partners, it emphasizes indigenous manufacturing and modular upgrades. With amphibious features and advanced weapon integration, the system supports India’s long-term goal of self-reliance in defence and modernization of its infantry forces.
