Raytheon has secured a $183.7-million US contract to deliver Patriot air and missile defense system equipment and support services for the United Arab Emirates. The agreement includes supplying system components, performing installation and inspections, and providing logistics and management support until 2031. The work will take place mainly at Raytheon facilities in Massachusetts. Patriot systems are widely used to counter aerial threats such as aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, forming an essential layer of advanced air defense for many allied nations.
