The US Department of Defense has awarded GM Defense a contract worth 18.8 million dollars to supply 121 additional Infantry Squad Vehicles for the US Army. The order includes the vehicle platforms along with supporting systems such as storage covers, anti-lock braking components, and electronic stability kits. Based on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 pickup truck, the ISV is designed to transport up to nine soldiers quickly across challenging terrain. The vehicle can be transported by helicopter or deployed via airdrop, supporting rapid mobility for infantry units during expeditionary operations.
