Integris Composites and QinetiQ US will work together to improve the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) of the US Army’s survivability. The defense manufacturers will create armor systems, while Integris will use its experience to provide military armor to improve the durability, speed, range, and payload capacity of medium-lift tilt-rotor aircraft in the future. In the meantime, QinetiQ is anticipated to provide the systems engineering and integration know-how for the materials technology utilized in the floor and wing of the sophisticated rotorcraft.
