Italy has finalized an agreement with Eurofighter and the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA) to acquire up to 24 new Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. The deal, signed in Rome, follows Spain’s recent order of 25 jets. The Italian Air Force plans to use these new fighters to replace its aging Tranche 1 models. This move underscores Italy’s commitment to updating its aerial capabilities with more advanced platforms.
