Taiwan is advancing a long-range cruise missile, nicknamed the “carrier killer,” to bolster maritime defense. With a range up to 1,000 km, the weapon could target areas of the South and East China Seas where Chinese carriers operate. Building on the Hsiung Feng IIE missile, the new version adds stealth and improved naval strike capability.
