Boeing has received $2.43 billion in new contracts from the US Air Force to further advance the E-7A Wedgetail early warning aircraft program. The funding will support the development of key mission systems such as radar technology, sensor integration, and advanced battle-management software. These systems are designed to improve situational awareness and help commanders coordinate operations across air and ground forces. Development efforts will be conducted mainly in Seattle, with supporting activities in several other US states.
