Hanwha Systems has introduced the Striker-S unmanned surface vessel, an advanced autonomous maritime platform developed to support future distributed naval operations. Designed around a modular architecture, the vessel can transport mission-specific payloads weighing up to 10 tonnes, enabling rapid reconfiguration for surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, force protection, or precision strike missions. Operating alongside conventional warships and shore-based command centers, the Striker-S strengthens manned-unmanned teaming concepts while reducing operational risk to naval personnel. Its scalable design supports future integration of advanced radar, missile systems, communications equipment, and autonomous mission software, reflecting the growing shift toward intelligent maritime combat systems.
