The US Navy has christened the USNS Solomon Atkinson, the seventh Navajo-class towing and rescue vessel designed for recovery, salvage, and support operations. Named after a pioneering SEAL Team One member and decorated combat veteran, the ship reflects the Navy’s modernization of its maritime support fleet with advanced multi-mission capabilities.
