India’s Army is advancing a new indigenous command-and-control platform called LVCCS to digitally coordinate artillery, missile, rocket, and drone strike operations. The system is intended to streamline targeting, fire control, and post-strike assessment by integrating battlefield surveillance networks and multiple weapon systems into a single command architecture. Developed after the operational success of Operation Sindoor, LVCCS reflects India’s growing emphasis on rapid sensor-to-shooter integration, real-time battlefield coordination, and network-centric warfare capabilities for future high-intensity conflicts.
