The ULM-ER missile developed by Adani Defence and DRDO is an advanced UAV-launched strike system designed for longer-range precision attacks. It can hit targets up to 10 km away while keeping drones outside enemy defence zones. The missile uses a dual-thrust engine for improved range and flight stability and features dual-mode guidance combining infrared imaging and laser homing. It can operate in both autonomous and guided modes. Integrated into swarm drone systems, it enables coordinated attacks on high-value targets. The system enhances India’s drone warfare capability by offering a cost-effective and flexible precision strike option between small loitering munitions and larger missile systems.
