According to a senior official, the Taiwanese military plans to purchase four different kinds of kamikaze drones in order to increase its lethality in the face of escalating regional threats. While the second kind of drone will be focused on carrying and launching loitering weapons, the first type will be developed for accurate short-range strikes. The other two will be able to take off and land vertically, and one will be able to carry missiles for high-impact attacks.
