Hanwha Aerospace and Milrem Robotics are jointly pursuing Romania’s unmanned ground vehicle program with a combination of wheeled and tracked robotic systems designed for logistics, reconnaissance, and combat support missions. The partnership includes plans for local manufacturing and recently showcased live manned-unmanned teaming demonstrations involving battlefield resupply, surveillance, and casualty evacuation. The effort highlights Europe’s increasing investment in autonomous military systems and collaborative defense-industrial partnerships.
