Saudi Arabia has taken another step toward strengthening its domestic defense industry with the unveiling of the SKYWASP long-range strike drone. Developed to perform one-way attack missions, the aircraft is designed to travel up to 1,500 kilometers before reaching its target. Its streamlined airframe and efficient propulsion system enable extended-range operations while carrying a forward-mounted payload. The introduction of the SKYWASP highlights the Kingdom’s focus on expanding indigenous military technology and improving its ability to deploy long-range unmanned strike platforms for future defense requirements.
