The Indian Navy has outlined a roadmap for developing a stealthy carrier-based combat drone that can perform multiple operational roles. Leveraging expertise from the Ghatak UCAV project, the NUCAV is expected to support intelligence gathering, offensive missions, and force-multiplication tasks. The platform is intended to strengthen naval air wings by providing greater flexibility, survivability, and autonomous capability in contested maritime environments across the Indo-Pacific region.
