Milrem Robotics of Estonia and Australia-based EOS Defence Systems have formalized a teaming agreement to strengthen cooperation on unmanned ground vehicle development and next-generation combat autonomy. The partnership is designed to deliver network-centric UGV solutions that integrate advanced sensors, weapons, and autonomy technologies for modern land warfare.
As part of the collaboration, the two companies will jointly pursue research and development initiatives focused on enhancing the interoperability of weapons and sensor systems with Milrem’s robotic vehicle platforms. Planned integrations include counter-UAS systems, missile and grenade launchers, heavy-caliber weapon systems, and directed-energy and laser capabilities, expanding the operational roles of UGVs in combat environments.
Milrem and EOS will also work together to co-develop additional solutions by exchanging technical expertise and aligning product roadmaps. The goal is to accelerate commercialization and fielding of autonomous ground systems that meet the demands of increasingly networked and contested battlefields.
The partnership will initially focus on key defense markets across the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, with priority countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, and selected European customers. Beyond these regions, the companies plan to identify new customer segments and jointly pursue marketing and business development opportunities, with potential expansion into the US market based on future operational requirements.
