Responding to shifting battlefield trends, the British Army is set to receive a fleet of 180 racing-style FPV drones for use in training exercises focused on drone warfare and counterdrone measures. Sourced from Viking Arms under a high-priority procurement, delivery will be completed in under three weeks.

Each drone is shipped with modular support gear, enabling immediate pilot familiarization with various drone sizes and payloads. The order includes systems formatted for individual pilot view maneuvering, with emphasis on urban terrain simulation and live field adaptation.

This program aligns with lessons learned from peer-conflict engagements and is focused on building operational readiness in UAS-assisted reconnaissance and assault operations across future European deployments.
