Germany is set to deploy 41 Telemax HT300 unmanned ground platforms from AeroVironment, purpose-built for counter-IED operations and explosive hazard clearance. This acquisition comes as European armies expand robotic capabilities in response to growing asymmetric threats.
The HT300 model is tailored for difficult terrain, including rubble, soft ground, and tight urban spaces. It features a multi-joint manipulator, modular attachments, and an intuitive operating system for remote-controlled precision.
With battlefield adaptability and full-spectrum survivability, these unmanned systems will become assets for both bomb detection units and deployed military engineers, increasing mission tempo while safeguarding personnel.
