Turkish marine engineering firm Anadolu Robotik has started sea trials of its Arida-M, a counter-unmanned surface vehicle (USV), marking the completion of its initial development phase. First introduced at a 2024 defense exhibition in Istanbul, the Arida-M is Türkiye’s first fully indigenous autonomous USV. The company shared footage of the vessel launching from a dock and operating at high speeds. Anadolu, based in Gölcük, stated that it is continuing sea trials and preparing for the Phase-1 demonstration.
