A new kind of drone created by Russian engineers burns things in the vicinity by releasing a stream of fire.Known as the “flamethrower drone,” the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) can shoot flames up to three meters (10 feet) downward because it has a small tank of flammable liquid.The new drone’s possible deployment may provide a short-range defense against enemy drones, though it is yet unknown if the Russian military would use it.
