Core Systems has partnered with Lockheed Martin to strengthen its position in the US military’s Golden Dome missile defense program, a major initiative focused on neutralizing evolving aerial threats.
As part of the collaboration, Core Systems will deliver ruggedized rack infrastructure to support the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), one of the central technologies proposed for the system.
The LRDR, in combination with Lockheed Martin’s TPY-6 and Sentinel A4 radars, is expected to provide enhanced early-warning capabilities and real-time tracking of ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
