Babcock has unveiled the Royal Navy’s first Type 31 frigate, HMS Venturer (F12), at its Rosyth facility in Scotland.
This milestone signals the end of the ship’s three-year construction phase and the beginning of its final outfitting ahead of military service.
As part of the event, the vessel was moved using custom-built transport cradles to position its hull for its upcoming first launch into the River Forth later this summer.
Once the float-off is complete, HMS Venturer will return to Rosyth for dockside integration work and preparations for sea trials.
