The most recent rendition of the highly classified AIM-260A Joint Advanced Tactical Missile (JATM) has been made public by the US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). The Program Executive Office for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons displayed the missile along with other cutting-edge systems like the AIM-120 AMRAAM and the AIM-9M/X Sidewinder as part of a portfolio presentation. According to the latest image, the AIM-260A JATM has a fuselage that is comparable to the AIM-120 but has a much larger rocket motor section, probably for increased range.
