Belgium has selected Polaris Government and Defense to supply MRZR D4 tactical all-terrain vehicles for its Special Operations Regiment under a NATO Support and Procurement Agency framework agreement. The acquisition replaces the aging Groundhog fleet with a highly mobile platform specifically designed for rapid deployment across challenging terrain and contested environments. The MRZR D4 features modular mission configurations, all-wheel drive capability, collapsible roll cage for air transport, significant payload capacity, and compatibility with helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and naval vessels. The platform can support troop transport, casualty evacuation, command-and-control, reconnaissance, communications, counter-drone operations, intelligence gathering, and light logistics missions. By utilizing the NATO procurement framework, Belgium benefits from faster acquisition, improved interoperability, reduced logistics complexity, and standardized equipment across allied forces.
