Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar represents one of the most significant advancements in military sensor technology, utilizing hundreds of independently controlled transmit/receive modules to electronically steer radar beams without mechanical movement. This capability enables rapid target acquisition, simultaneous tracking of multiple threats, electronic warfare resilience, precision fire control, and high-speed battlefield data processing. AESA systems are now integrated into modern fighter aircraft, airborne warning platforms, naval combatants, and advanced ground-based air-defense networks. Ongoing improvements in Gallium Nitride technology, artificial intelligence, and digital signal processing continue to expand detection range, target discrimination, and network-centric combat capabilities across multi-domain operations.
