Rauma Marine Constructions has launched the first Pohjanmaa-class multi-role corvette for the Finnish Navy at its facility in Satakunta. The vessel was moved from the assembly hall to the dock basin, entering its final outfitting stage ahead of its expected delivery and commissioning by 2027. The remaining ships in the class are set to enter service by 2029. Construction of the lead corvette began with the first steel cut in November 2023, and the hull was completed by February 2025.
