The Indian Army has launched a procurement process for 159 Bullet Proof Troop Carriers to strengthen protection for Rashtriya Rifles personnel operating in high-risk counter-insurgency environments. The program is being pursued under the Indian-IDDM category, supporting indigenous defense manufacturing and local technology development.
