As part of the Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems program, Textron Systems has delivered the MK 4.8 Hybrid Quad (HQ) Aerosonde drone to the US Army. The official handover from the manufacturer to the US government was completed through the Department of Defense’s DD-250 process.The US Army FTUAS program team will then educate teachers and operators on new equipment at Redstone Test Center in order to certify them; completion is expected by the end of January.
