Kopin is bringing production of its OLED microdisplays fully in-house to strengthen supply chain security and accelerate deliveries for defense customers. The compact high-resolution displays are widely used in drone systems, thermal sights, and soldier-worn technologies where lightweight and low-power electronics are critical. The move reflects growing pressure across the defense industry to secure domestic manufacturing capabilities for mission-critical components.
